National Geographic's Photo of the Day

It's Trey's birthday!

I would have blogged about this earlier, but we've been traveling. I even neglected to get a card in the mail for my favorite son!

But I want to share a few of my favorite pics (well, I don't have many recent ones . . . ).

Before we moved from Jersey last summer, Trey took us all to Pat's in Phila where he introduced us to the BEST cheesesteak! (We were sitting across the street from that OTHER place. Imagine that this is Trey's expression when we suggested eating THERE!)

This one is from last summer when Trey free-traveled (mostly alone, brave soul) in Europe following a business course via Harding in London. I'm not sure of the location.

My blogger is acting very strange, so I hope these pics come out okay.

The last picture is the most recent. The day after Thanksgiving we went to Universal. And in Seussland (or whatever is the official name) some of us posed under the appropriate street sign.

Here is Trey, hamming it up again.

He is a very charming young man, imaginative, anxious to forge his own identity, sweet, and will graduate very soon from Harding. What will he do then? What path will he take? My prayer for him is that he will be God's man above all else.

God bless you with a wonderful birthday, son, a terrific graduation, and wisdom to continue to make good choices. You have always been a joy to us. Wherever you land this summer and beyond, you will always be in God's hands and our hearts.
